if you have the ark mission to complete you are told where it is in the mission section

so you have to be in the same points bracket even to defend! that makes no sense, that means that even in an alliance only players of similar strength can defend! that defeats the purpose of being allied

giving a moon to a vacant player is a waste 

see the battle above I lost loads of ships but that would have been offset by the return of debris but is formed a moon instead
a moon that a vacant player is never going to claim
when attacking a vacant player it would make sense that no moon would form and all debris is collectable

did you only have one planet or all planets in one system? because if I understand it right if your capital is destroyed under solar destruction the capital jumps to your closest planet
