Is there a way to increase IPM range? Seems at the start it is only 2 systems away, which is useless:(

Yeah, it says so in impulse drive. Strange though, IPMs are propelled by rockets;-)

they are not useles just you recuire good admirall lvl to increase their efectivnes also you need to kill first the abms of an planet to start eating the def and if he has planetery hdyerian well forget it wont be easy t break in
