Earlier there weren't the losses while robbing before 25k points. Is this a bug or improvement?

I've just started getting hit with some big losses too. I'm 7k and hit a 4k for 26% loss and then I tried a 12k and got 28% loss. What's going on here?

I figured it out with some help. At the very bottom of the trade tab there is a limit to how much you can raid per month without penalty. This limit is told to you in vespene so I assume it using the conversions at the top to turn everything into a vespene value. Once you reach that limit you either need to increase your production (thus increasing your limit) or face a penalty whenever you raid from anyone active.

This penalities only apply when you raid >active players<.
You won't receive penalities anymore when robbing a player who is at least 28 days afk, even if you should get a penality.
You still get penalities at 7+ days afk.

You can check that yourself when you rob a 28+ days afk person because it a) is in the battle report and b) this attack won't be added to the list in the "trade"-tab.
